Pursuing the Joy of Salvation, Knowledge, Leadership, and Community
KAES Sabbath is next Saturday on October 4, 2025
Middle School students participated in IGO this Friday.
Today, middle school students took their learning beyond the classroom walls and into the heart of God’s creation during a special outdoor education day at Cleburne State Park. With a variety of hands-on classes to choose from, students not only explored the natural world but also deepened their connection to the Creator behind it.
From checking the health of the creek and canoeing on the lake to hiking scenic trails and creating model rain clouds, the day was filled with opportunities to observe, learn, and reflect. Even quieter moments, like reading outdoors under the trees, allowed students to slow down and soak in the peaceful beauty of the park.
The outdoor day served as a reminder that creation itself points back to the Creator, and that time spent in nature is an opportunity not only for education but for worship and wonder.
Support for Mrs. Hutchinson
If you’ve been part of the KAES family for any amount of time, chances are you know Mrs. Hutchinson. She’s been so much more than just a teacher here — she’s also been a parent of three KAES grads, our vice principal, a board member, tutor coordinator, and just an all-around steady and caring presence on campus.
She’s poured so much love and energy into our school and our kids over the years. If your child has had her as a teacher, you know exactly what that love looks like — patient, kind, dedicated, and full of heart.
Now, it’s our turn to give some of that love back.
Mrs. Hutchinson was recently diagnosed with cancer. She’ll be having surgery at the end of this month, followed by treatments in the weeks that follow. It’s going to be a tough road, but we want her to know she’s not walking it alone.
We’ve put together a few ways you can help support her and her family during this time — whether it’s a donation, a meal, a card, or just keeping her in your prayers. Every bit of support will help lighten the load.
Below are some ways you can rally around Ms. Hutchinson and show some love.
