Thank YOU, Volunteers!
Huge Thank You to our MVE Volunteers!
As April draws to a close, we want to express our genuine gratitude to all of our Meadowview Volunteers! They are the quiet force behind so much of what makes our school special. Whether it is supporting in classrooms, helping at events, fundraising, helping teachers with prep materials, or participating as a member of the PTP, your work is important! Your time and care make a real difference for our students and staff. Thank you for being such an important part of our school community!
Last Day of School Lunch
Our last day of school is Wednesday, June 3 our dismissal time will be at 11am. All students have the opportunity to have a bagged lunch from the kitchen on that day. In order to have enough supplies we ask that families submit a lunch order form before Wednesday, May 20.
You can find the form below or an orange paper copy will be coming home with your student today!
Thank you!
SUN Bucks!
As we look towards the summer months it can sometimes be difficult for families to provide breakfast and lunch for their students. SUN Bucks can help provide groceries to families who qualify.
What are SUN Bucks? – SUN Bucks is a one-time per eligible school-aged child $120 payment to families to aid in buying groceries when school is out for the summer.
Who is eligible? – School-aged children between the ages of 7-17 whose households participate in public assistance programs (MFIP, SNAP, TANF, FDPIR, Foster Care) or children who have an approved application to receive free and reduced meals through the National School Lunch or Breakfast Program.
Families do not need to receive public assistance to obtain SUN Bucks IF they receive free/reduced lunch services.
If a family receives free/reduced lunch, but not public assistance they WILL need a copy of their approved free/reduced school breakfast/lunch application.
How do parents know if their child is eligible? – Take this quiz: https://www.summerebt.org/states/minnesota

Attendance Tip!
Getting to school on time is just as important as being at school. Research shows that continued tardiness leads to poor attendance. Many of the most important parts of a student's day happen within the first 15 minutes. This is often when they have a time to socialize with their peers, orient themselves for the day, take care of necessary business, and connect with their teacher before the day starts. Never underestimate the power of the first 15 minutes of school!
End of Day Routine
Please make sure your child's teacher has an accurate, up-to-date plan for your child's dismissal at the end of the day.
When changes are needed, please communicate those changes with your child's teacher prior to the start of the school day. We cannot always guarantee teachers will see emails during the work day (as it depends on the activities they have planned with the students).
For EMERGENCY CHANGES, please communicate with the teacher and call the front office no later than 2pm. Changes to end of day routines are difficult for students and teachers. If at all possible please change YOUR routine instead of your students routine.
