☔ WEATHER GUIDELINES ☔
It's that time of year, and as we move into November, winter will become more prevalent. Please make sure your kiddos are dressed appropriately for the elements when they arrive at school. Per district policy, students will go outside for recess as long as the wind chill is above zero. You are welcome to send snow boots or snow pants with your kids to school.

⭐ NATIONAL SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER APPRECIATION DAY ⭐
The National Association of School Resource Officers appointed February 15th of every year to be School Resource Officer Appreciation Day. This day is set aside to celebrate our sworn law enforcement officers who work in schools to keep our kids and staff safe, and build relationships with our families and students. Deputy Ness has worked in Piedmont Valley Elementary since 2023. Since that time she has read to students in their classroom, greeted them when they come in the office, and given out countless badge stickers and hugs! She has also helped with the implementation and training of the "I Love You Guys" safety protocol. We are so lucky to have her in our PVE family!
