Did you know that Texas is launching the Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) program in the 2026–27 school year, allowing eligible families to receive state funds for educational expenses like private school tuition, tutoring, and therapies. Applications will need to be submitted around February 2026, and any child eligible to attend public school can apply with priority given to students from low-income households and those with disabilities. KAES is planning to offer a parent meeting in December to help provide understanding about this new program that the school intends on participating in. Please keep posted for further information.
