Dear Audubon Families,

It’s hard to believe this is our final family letter of the 2025-2026 school year! We have had such an amazing year together, and we are looking forward to ending the year with lots of fun and special memories during our busy final week.

Monday – Water Day
Students will participate in Water Day activities. Please make sure your child brings:

  • A change of clothes
  • A towel

Please remember that swimsuits are not allowed. We also ask that you apply sunblock to your child before they come to school.

If you signed up to volunteer for Water Day, please check your email. Additional details were sent out earlier this week.

We will also be celebrating our 5th graders as they participate in their promotion ceremony from 5:30-6:30. We are so proud of them and excited to celebrate this milestone!

Tuesday – No School for Students
There will be no school for students on Tuesday because of Election Day. Our school will be used as a voting station, so you will notice additional cars in our parking lot throughout the day.

Wednesday – Field Day
Field Day is always a favorite! Students will again need:

  • A change of clothes
  • A towel

If you signed up to volunteer for Field Day, Mr. Duncan will be reaching out with additional details.

Kona Ice will also be here on Wednesday! This will be a prepay-only event, so please make sure to place your order ahead of time using the link below.

We also have a “pay it forward” option available for families who would like to purchase a Kona Ice for a student who may not otherwise receive one. To do this, select a teacher and type “anyone” or “pay it fwd” in the student name section. We will make sure those are distributed to students in need.

Thursday – Last Day of School
Thursday is the final day of school for students. Our 5th graders will participate in their final walkthrough at 2:00 PM as we celebrate and cheer them on one last time through the halls of Audubon.

We are also excited to share that our PTO has started a Facebook page! This will be a great way for families to stay connected and informed about upcoming events and opportunities throughout the year. The link to the page can be found in this week’s memo.

Thank you for your continued support throughout this school year. We appreciate all of our Audubon families and hope everyone has a safe, relaxing, and fun summer!
