Accept Responsibility: R3 Step Up

Now that students know how to Press Pause and Get Their Minds Right, they are ready to respond! Last week we taught kids how to Step Up - take the action they need for the outcome they want. Stepping up can be difficult, especially when events are most challenging, but with the right mindset and intentional actions, our response earns the outcomes we want. We will also discuss how students can build their resiliency by continually stepping up, especially in difficult situations. With a connection to Pinney Has Heart, we discussed Stepping Up to make our community the best it can be. We do this through displaying actions and choosing words that make the days of others better.

Winter MAP Student Data

The MAP assessments give us the ability to measure student achievement and academic growth across time. Students participate in the MAP Reading and MAP Math assessments three times a year (grades 1-8). The MAP 2-5 and MAP 6+ assessments allow us to identify students as gifted in the areas of math and/or reading. MAP scores in the 95th-99th percentile meet the Ohio Department of Education requirements for gifted identification. Students scoring in the range for a gifted identification will be supported in their regular classroom setting through high-quality, differentiated instruction. MAP results are now visible to parents in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Please follow the steps below to find your child's fall MAP results. Additional information about MAP can be found here.
