Principal's Update
SES Community,
Happy New Year!
Well, we made it to 2025! We hope every family had a wonderful holiday season with family and friends . As a school community, we are looking forward to many educational adventures that will help our students grow and learn.
We also look forward to continuing building relationships with families and Shoreham community members.
Before moving forward to January, I would like to take a moment to share with you a few highlights from December.
First, we had a few 4 / 5 students run for student council. These students had to make a poster and deliver a speech in front of their peers to be put on a ballot. They all did a remarkable job. Student Council meets twice a month to plan on ways of making our school community a safe, respectful environment for all.
Please help me congratulate the following 4 / 5 students.
President: Ella Pope
Vice President: Sutton Chittenden
Secretary: Owyn Littlefield
Treasurer: Huxley Bourgeois
Public Relations: Rosemary Duplissis
Members : Eliana Smith, Scarlett Treadway, George Burnham, Libby Fitzsimmons and Evie Siebecker
Secondly we had two wonderful music concerts that our Shoreham students were able to showcase their learning which we all enjoyed! None of this would have been possible without our great team of music instructors, Band Teacher - Sarah Metcalf and our Music Teacher Kate Cunningham.
Lastly, as a school community we all enjoyed the holiday craft fair that was organized by Ms. Irene. We are thankful for all the craft donations and volunteers that gave their time and expertise.
Best,
Lashawn Whitmore-Sells
Principal
