As you are aware, the Department of Education has again given a book grant to all primary schools to purchase school books for the children. Their school books have been purchased and labelled and the class teachers have them.

A list of stationery items that you must purchase for your child was sent out on Monday. The school requisite list has also been emailed to all the families for next year. Payment must be made before the beginning of the school year and it can be made via the Aladdin App.

A huge thank you to all the children, to our SNA Maria, and especially to Ms. Fitzgerald for their hard work in creating such a meaningful celebration. The atmosphere was filled with pride and positivity, a true reflection of the spirit of the class.

On behalf of everyone in our school community, I want to extend our sincere congratulations and very best wishes to:

Luke, Eilish, Jessica, Dylan, Megan, Timmy, Evie, Myles, Cameron, Tomás, Sultana, Millie, Oran, Lasha, Kajus, Stella, Rory, Jack, Sienna, Kevin, Makayla, and Eloise

It was especially lovely to see so many parents and siblings join us. Watching these young people grow, learn, and flourish over the past eight years has been a real honour. As they take their next steps into secondary school, we send them off with every good wish for continued success and happiness.

To the families who are moving on from Dangan, thank you sincerely for your years of support, encouragement, and kindness. Your involvement in school life has meant a great deal to us. We wish you and your children all the very best in the journey ahead.

A sincere thanks also to Ms Fitzgerald, Ms. Mollison and Mr. Kelly for overseeing the athletics and rounders this year. Your hard work and commitment have made a significant impact, and I know that the boys and girls truly appreciate your efforts.

Finally, sincere thanks to all the parents who have helped throughout the year with sporting activities—we truly appreciate your support.

Congratulations to Kevin and Tomás who represented Meath in the recent County Blitz against Louth. The boys played brilliantly, winning all 5 of their matches, and really enjoyed the experience of wearing the county jersey!

A sincere thank you to everyone who has supported our Lotto Fundraiser over the past year.
Your generosity and continued support mean so much. As you know, the funds raised have gone towards the purchase of our Sensory Pods, which have already made such a meaningful difference in our community.

All our lucky weekly winners over the summer will receive their prize when our school re-opens. If you are really lucky and win our Jackpot, then we will be in touch. We thank you all for your support, as it is making a real difference. Enjoy the summer holidays!

Ann Marie Comey 5km - We hope to see all the parents & pupils on the 25th July🙂 Ann Marie Comey 5km - We hope to see all the parents & pupils on the 25th July🙂

We are proud to support this special 5km race taking place 25th July in memory of one of our wonderful mothers, Ann-Marie. This event is not only a chance to come together as a community but also an opportunity to raise vital funds for the Irish Cancer Society. We have no doubt that the parents, pupils, and staff of Dangan will turn out in force to support Ray, Max, Holly, Grace, and Ryan—remembering Ann Marie and contributing to this important cause.

I will be dusting off my runners and I hope to see you there 🙂
