A message from the PTA Board

This has been a crazy weather week and I think we are all ready for some warm weather (Sun and -1 just isn't cutting it). The Board is excited to have you all join us for the VIP & Me Dance on February 6th. The PTA wants all students to feel welcome and comfortable to attend our events. At each event check-in table there will be sensory supplies for those that would benefit from them (noise-canceling headphones and calming fidgets).

Stay tuned for an exciting announcement next week about our PTA Auction Night. Book your sitter for March 14th. We will bring casual fun that will raise valuable resources for our school.

Event Help Needed

As we launch into the 2nd half of the school year, we are looking for some assistance during events and running errands for some of our upcoming events. If you are interested and available, we would love to have your help Volunteering:

  • VIP and Me Dance: help on February 6th
  • Heritage Night: March 3
  • Auction Night: March 14
  • Teacher Appreciation Week: first week of May

Stock the Lounge

Our teachers and staff are just like us...

Please help us bring a winter pick-me-up to our Bingham stars by stocking the staff lounge with delicious treats and a variety of caffeine options. Drop off an individually packaged snack, protein fix, or caffeine beverage to bring a bit of joy on these cloudy and cold winter days. Choose from an item on the Sign-up-Genius or one of your own fav's.

Please NO Coins

For students who do not have a pass and wish to purchase an ice cream or a bagel, please send them with $1 bills only. Coins easily get lost, don't always add up to a dollar, and often arrive in denominations we cannot use. And someone gets the joy of getting to roll the loose change each week... These PTA fundraisers help to support our school and we appreciate your assistance.

Box Tops for Education

A great way to support the school is through Box Top$ for Education. Long gone are the days of clipping the barcodes of cereal boxes or soup labels. Download the app, select Bingham Farms Elementary, and each time you shop at the grocery scan your receipt. It will auto calculate the donation and send it to our school! It is easy, and you don't need to know which food or supplies qualify for credit - the app checks for you. Now download that app while you wait for the bus, or in the pick-up gathering zone. Thanks for supporting our school, and be sure to share with friends and family too!
