Monday, September 2nd ... School CLOSED
Labor Day is a national holiday in the United States celebrated on the first Monday in September. It honors the contributions and achievements of American workers and the labor movement. The day also marks the unofficial end of summer, with many people enjoying barbecues, parades, and other festivities. Established in the late 19th century, Labor Day recognizes the economic and social impact of the workforce.
Dear ASFL Families,
Thank you for your generous donations and support of our American Thrift Store BAGS for Bucks fundraiser. Your contributions have made a significant impact, and we're incredibly grateful for your continued support. Additionally, your generous donations from our wish list are deeply appreciated and will go a long way as we strive to maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
We couldn't do it without you!
Thank you once again for your continued support 😊
Thank you parents and scholars for coming out last night for STEM Night!
Please Take HCS Parent Survey
Huntsville City Schools (HCS) is presently undertaking our District Accreditation and STEM Certification based on rigorous research-based standards and evidence-based criteria. COGNIA for more than 125 years has accredited schools under their legacy agencies, NCA CASI, NWAS, and SACS CASI. The process probes the whole district to determine how well the parts work together to meet the needs of our students. The Parent and Community Survey is an important part of this process, and HCS greatly appreciates and values your input into our accreditation process. If you have not already, we ask you to please take the survey below. Take Survey
