As we reach the halfway point of the school year, I want to encourage you to think about your progress and ask:

• Am I on target to reach my goals? Your grades at this time are good indicators of how you are progressing academically in school.
• Do I need more assistance from my teachers or school counselor? Your teachers, counselors, principals and other adults at school are part of your team and willing to assist you in reaching your academic goals.
• How is my attendance? Make daily attendance your goal and part of your academic plan!

Thursday, December 14th: 2-hour delay for teacher classroom prep time.

Thursday, December 21st: 2-hour early release day Faculty Senate meetings. No school for students Friday, December 22, 2023, through Tuesday, January 2, 2024. Students will return on Wednesday, January 3, 2024.

STAFF:

Thursday, December 14th: Staff report to work on time for classroom prep. Students arrive on a 2 hour delay.

Thursday, December 21st: 2-hour early release for Faculty Senate meetings. No school for staff* Friday, December 22, 2023, through Monday, January 1, 2024. Staff will return on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 for a Professional Learning Day.

As we enter a season of holidays and celebrations, I encourage you to foster a culture of curiosity and learning of customs and beliefs that may be different than your own. In doing so, our school community will create an atmosphere of acceptance, understanding, and recognition of diversity.
