Region 10 Social Studies Support
May 2022
WELCOME TO MAY!
I first want to say a ❤️ HEARTFELT ❤️ THANK YOU to all of our teachers. Your dedication, love and service to our children does not go unnoticed. I wish that there were words or deeds that were enough to show you just how much you are appreciated. If I could, I'd give each of you a Sonic drink or a cup of coffee but for now, just know that you are special! You are important! And you deserve so much more than you receive on a daily basis.
I know this month is crazy with STAAR tests and AP tests (Best of luck to your students), end of the year competitions, celebrations and the day to day of wrapping up a school year. As you close out the year, I hope you are able to take a moment and reflect with your students on all they they have learned, how they have grown not just as students but as human beings. Our kids need you more than ever.
