Good People,
Last week some of our wonderful students participated in the Minnesota Indian Education Association Dakota Language Bowl and took 4th place! Many congratulations!
This week our Sanford Debate team goes to City Championships in which they compete against students in Minneapolis and Saint Paul. Overall, Sanford debate team has had a spectacular year. Our varsity team is undefeated through four tournaments and all Debate Team Members have earned medals this year! Yay!
Finally, I hope that you have a restful and peaceful spring break next week, we will see your students on April 6 for the last 10 weeks of the school year!

8th Graders going to Roosevelt
Welcome, Future Teddies and Families!
We're excited to have supported students through course registration on Tuesday! To secure their class choices, students need to complete their course card or online registration by Friday, March 27th. During registration, students selected their math level and elective courses. Here is the link to the Roosevelt presentation from Tuesday and includes registration instructions.
What happens next:
- Students who didn't complete all selections will have courses assigned for them
Course requests will be printed and available for pickup at our Welcome Class of 2030 event on April 30th
Important Update
Next year, RHS is transitioning to a 6-period schedule. While you'll notice fewer electives available, this change reflects our commitment to what's best for students and staff. Here's what this means for you:
✓ Smaller class sizes: More one-on-one attention from teachers
✓ Richer discussions: Where every voice matters and is heard
✓ Better focus : A classroom environment where everyone can succeed
