PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE π
π Hello Bobcat Families,
Happy 2025! π₯³π
I hope you all enjoyed the break/holiday season with your families. I had a busy first week of break with lots of holiday festivities and family in town. The second week was a little more mellow.
As we transition back to the swing of things, I wish you all a great 2025! May it be all we hoped for!

PARKING LOT RULES πππ¨β
Please be sure to follow ALL parking lot rules as directed by staff. If your child is not out at the gate and ready to go, you may be asked to move and do another lap to keep the flow of traffic moving. The upper grade lot does not have room for a passing lane.
Also, for the safety of our TK + Kinder students, we ask that you park and walk up to pick up your child. We cannot release a child into the street. Thank you for your understanding.
NEW 2ND GRADE TEACHER TO REPLACE MRS. T. HUGHES
A new 2nd grade teacher is tentatively scheduled to take over for Ms. T. Hughes on January 27th. In the meantime, please welcome Ms. Lembeck who will fill in as a long-term substitute! Ms. Lembeck is familiar with our school community and brings a wealth of experience to ensure a smooth transition for the students until the new teacherβs arrival. More information will be communicated as it is received. Ms. Lembeck can be reached at: klembeck@eusd.org
ATTENDANCE MATTERS β
Did you know Mondays are our LOWEST attendance day? Let's help improve this school-wide goal to increase attendance on Mondays! We will be having special competitions on Mondays. Please make your best efforts to help send your students to school on this day!
Help us reach our attendance goal of 94% average daily attendance!
Regular student attendance plays a critical role in our collective mission to ensure every student achieves their fullest potential.
Why Attendance Should Be a Top Priority:
Academic Achievement: Regular attendance is fundamental to student success. Each school day is a building block in the learning process. Consistent attendance helps students keep up with coursework, understand key concepts, and perform better academically.
Social and Emotional Development: School is a place where students develop crucial social skills and emotional resilience. Frequent absences can hinder their ability to form strong relationships with peers and teachers, impacting their overall development.
Future Opportunities: Consistent attendance is linked to higher graduation rates and better long-term outcomes, including higher education and career prospects. By prioritizing attendance, we are directly contributing to students' future success.
School Culture: Regular attendance fosters a positive school culture and enhances the learning environment for everyone. It creates a sense of community and ensures that all students have equal access to the resources and support they need.
Congrats to all the attendance winners with the highest attendance on MONDAY!
