Lincoln Lowdown- 3/3/25
Our Spring Break Out Fundraiser is HERE!
Please donate!
Dear Lincoln Families,
Our biggest fundraising effort of the year, The Spring Break Out, is off to an amazing start—we’ve hit our first milestone of $25,000! We couldn’t be more grateful for this incredible community.
This week, our students enjoyed exciting rallies where we gave away prizes and announced our first winning homebases.
Congratulations to DeBeech’s, Greenfield’s, and Hylind’s homebases for leading the school in pledges sent and funds raised so far—they've earned ice pop parties!
Your support makes a real impact! Part of this fundraiser helps provide enriching experiences like the African Drummer assembly that every student enjoyed for Black History Month this week.
Ask your Lion about Spring Break Out and how you can help! Visit pledgestar.com/lincolnmiddle today to contribute. Got questions?
Thank you for being part of this amazing effort!

Lions Leading- Culturally Responsive Teaching Practices!
Thank you!
I wanted to take a moment to highlight Mr. Martinez's engaging lesson on UV light and solar energy. His students were actively engaged in different stations, exploring the various ways the sun's energy affects our environment. Through hands-on experiences, Mr. Martinez effectively integrated culturally responsive teaching practices, ensuring all students were able to connect their prior knowledge with real-world applications.
His approach demonstrated how scientific concepts like UV light can be explored through diverse perspectives, fostering a deeper understanding while promoting inclusivity. Great work, Mr. Martinez, for creating an environment that encourages exploration and meaningful learning!
