The Raider Cheerleaders were invited to the Challenge Air for Kids & Friends Annual Fly Day.

At this event the girls cheered on special needs kids who were given the opportunity to take personal flights with pilots who volunteer their planes for the day. They lined the red carpet, ushering the kids to their plane and welcoming them home from their flight.

There were 109 kids with special needs that participated in Challenge Air flights and 13 of our cheerleaders volunteered a day of their spring break to be a part of this event. This was a sweet opportunity for our girls to use their cheer to bring joy to others.

Stock the Lounge FAQ:

Q: Can I buy other things not on the list?

A: Absolutely! Just send to the correct school/attention this month, and your PTA team will make sure it gets distributed.

Q: Can I drop off things in person?

A: Yes! Just drop off items at the front office of the school, marked for PTA Stock the Lounge, and your PTA team will take it from there.

Q: What items do you need?

A: Check the list for the respective schools, but any individually packaged snack/drink items are the main things each school wants. Bonus points if it is gluten free for the High School, as we have many teachers/admin that can’t eat gluten on that campus.

We are so proud to announce that Zoe Glaspie and Destiny Arinze have been named to the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC) All-Region Team!
