First Grade Music Concert & Gallery Walk - Friday, February 20, 2026 at 2:00 PM

We are so excited for our upcoming 1st Grade Music Concert! The concert will take place Friday, February 20 starting at 2:00 PM at the Primary Center. Please note that our concert will take place in the Primary Center gymnasium.

In conjunction with the 1st grade concert, we will be hosting a 1st grade art gallery walk! There will be a map printed on the back of your concert program that will guide your art gallery tour. After the concert, you may go pick up your child from their classroom and do the gallery walk together. With this event taking place near the end of our school day, we simply ask that you complete your gallery walk no later than 2:50 PM so that we can safely clear the hallways to get our students ready for dismissal.
We will be unlocking the north, south, and west Primary Center gymnasium doors starting at 1:30 PM. Guests will not be permitted into the building before 1:30 PM. We are encouraging families to park on Academy St. and 2nd St. There will only be minimal parking available in the PC lot and down in the ELC lot.
In our gymnasium, we will have bleacher and chair seating. We ask that the chair seating be reserved for visitors with mobility limitations, parents with small children, and as overflow seating once the bleachers are full.
At the end of the concert, teachers will be taking their students back to their classrooms. Parents will be dismissed by class to check in with the classroom teacher and pick up their child and then complete the art gallery walk.

The children are very excited about performing for us, and sharing their artwork! Thank you for being a part of this event. We are looking forward to seeing you!

Sincerely,
Mrs. Vajda, Music Teacher, Ms. Godfrey, Art Teacher & Mrs. Johnson, Principal

A Message From Student Services

Dear ELC/PC Families,

One of the pillars of our school district is belongingness, ensuring that students feel connected to our school community. To help build students’ skills in forming friendships and connections with others, members of Student Services are beginning to engage students in small groups and lunch bunch opportunities. In these groups, students will be learning and practicing skills for friendships while connecting with their peers. We look forward to helping our students learn, grow, and connect with each other through these various opportunities. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact a member of Student Services below.

Kindly,

Student Services
