Middle School - 11/13
Middle School Update - November 13, 2025
Principal's Note
Thank you to our families who showed up for parent-teacher conferences last week. We are grateful for the investment and support you put forth for your children and increasing the partnership between home and Maranatha. If you were unable to attend for any reason, I would encourage you to reach out to your child's teacher.
As we move through November and look ahead to Thanksgiving break, this is a wonderful time to reflect on the season of gratitude for what we have in our middle school community.
The fall season can bring a mix of excitement and energy for students, making it even more important for us to partnership in reinforcing positive choices, respect, and personal responsibility. Thank you for the way you support your child and partner with our teachers to help students stay focused and continue growing into the young men and women God has called them to be.
7th Grade Field Trip to the Guthrie
Our 7th grade students will be participating in a field trip tying in the learning happening in their English class. The field trip will take place on Thursday, November 13th, at the Guthrie Theater, and students will be viewing a live performance of “A Christmas Carol”. We ask that students be dressed for the theater and practice proper theater etiquette.
8th Grade Field Trip to Zero Gravity
In partnership with our middle school student council, our 8th graders will take a community-building grade-level trip to Zero Gravity Trampoline Park on Thursday, November 13, from 8:30-11:30. This field trip is a great opportunity to build community, celebrate our students’ hard work throughout the first quarter of the school year, and continue building strong relationships as we move forward throughout the school year.
