WEEK 24
Week 24 (February 10 - 14)
Greetings World Class Parents/Guardians,
Congratulations to our Team of the Month, The Kindergarten Team!!
A heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Denson, for expertly facilitating our Kindergarten & 1st Round-Up!
A huge thank you to our Instructional Advisory Committee for organizing our International
Night, and to all the parents who generously donated your time, talent, and support to ensuring the success of the evening, as well as the staff who attended. Your support makes a difference!
This Friday is Valentine’s Day! While we will not be hosting class parties, students are welcome to bring store-bought treats, candy, and cards to share with their classmates. We appreciate your support in making this day special for our students!
As we continue to work together, it is critical that we remain focused on safety. Thanks to your cooperation, we’ve done well in this area, but it’s essential that we stay vigilant—especially during carpool hours. Please prioritize student safety by following the guidance of our staff during both AM and PM carpool times. We all play a role in ensuring that everyone on campus remains safe.
Additionally, our dedicated crossing guard has raised concerns regarding the intersection at Caladium Drive, where cars frequently disregard the stop sign, posing a potential hazard to pedestrians.
To help maintain a safe environment:
• Please remind your child/children to follow the crossing guard’s instructions and only cross when directed.
• Drivers, we kindly ask for your vigilance in coming to a complete stop and yielding to the crossing guard and pedestrians at this busy intersection.
Additionally, I cannot emphasize enough how important student attendance is to their academic success. It’s essential that your child is present and on time every school day, unless they are genuinely ill. Our goal this year is to ensure that students miss no more than 18 days of school. While last year our overall attendance rate was 93%, our target this year is 95%, and we need your full support to help us reach this goal. Consistent attendance ensures that every student has the opportunity to receive the education they deserve.
As always, thank you for entrusting us with the privilege of educating and nurturing your children. Your ongoing support plays a crucial role in making a positive impact, and we truly appreciate it.
Let’s make this week count—on purpose as we continue to Go for G.O.L.D - Growing Our Learners Daily!
Proud to Serve,
-Principal Henley
