Message from Mrs. Schneid
Dear BPE Families-
As hard as it is to believe, we have reached the final month of the 2025–2026 school year! It feels like just yesterday we were welcoming our newest Little Titans to BPE. May is always a fast and exciting month, and every day truly counts. Strong attendance is especially important right now, and we are challenging everyone to help make May our BEST month yet. We still have time to make a positive impact on our overall school attendance—together, we can do it!
Next week, we are excited to celebrate Staff Appreciation Week with our theme, “Once Upon a Teacher.” Throughout the week, we will honor our incredible staff and the journeys that brought them to BPE, with many well-deserved THANK YOUs along the way. We encourage families to join us in celebrating and recognizing any staff members who have made a difference in your child’s life.
We also hope to see many of you this Sunday for Chalk the Walk, helping us create a joyful and welcoming start to the week on Monday morning!
This month also brings some exciting events, including our first-ever BPE Talent Show next Friday. A huge thank you to Miss. Dukarm and Miss. Roll for organizing this special event, as well as to the many staff members who have supported along the way. I will be cheering from home and cannot wait to see our students shine!
Field Day will take place on May 15, and we are looking forward to a fun and memorable day for our students. Volunteer information has been shared, and we hope many of you are able to join us and help make the day extra special. Please note that in order to attend you must be a volunteer for a station and signed up.
I am eager and ready to return and look forward to seeing everyone on May 18. Thank you, as always, for your continued support in making BPE such a special place for our students, staff, and families.
Let’s make it an amazing May!

Field Day at BPE is fast approaching- Do you want to volunteer ?
BPE Field Day Volunteers 2026
Please review the available grade level time and activity slots in the link below. Click on the button to sign up and provided contact information. This year we are asking you to choose the activity station you'd like to run before showing up on Field Day. By signing up you are committing to volunteer and we will see you at your selected time slot. Volunteers will be running one station during their selected time. Parents/Guardians will NOT travel from station to station with their student.
We also ask that if you are volunteering that you:
* Do not bring younger students, as you will be activitly running a station during your time
* All adults must be dressed appropriately for a school event- if they are not, they will be asked to leave
* You will need your license on that day to participate as a volunteer as it will be ran through our system to print your vistor badge.
If you have been in the builidng to volunteer recently, you will most likely be in the system. You should call the office and talke to Mrs Homchik to be sure your are in the system.
Coming up PRIOR to have your license ran through our system is highly recommeneded, as it saves time on the Field Day.
* If adults/guardians that are signed up volunetters for Field Day are signed up to actively assist and run a station- we do not have adults/guardians attend Field Day as specatators.
