Dear Barron Families,

We have reached the last week of school, and what an incredible year it has been! As we prepare to celebrate our students through award ceremonies, promotion events, and end-of-year activities, we want to take a moment to thank you for your partnership and support throughout the school year.

This week, we celebrate the growth of our Pioneers. While we are proud of their academic accomplishments, we are equally proud of the confidence, leadership, creativity, perseverance, and character they have developed throughout the year. We have seen this growth through classroom learning, STEAM Night, music concerts, Kids Excel performances, COPA de District, and many other opportunities that allowed our students to shine.

Our students' success is made possible through the strong partnership between home and school. Thank you for supporting learning, encouraging attendance, communicating with teachers, and helping us create an environment where every Pioneer can learn and belong.

We are also proud to share that our Barron Soccer Team represented our school at COPA de District this past weekend. Our students demonstrated teamwork, sportsmanship, and perseverance, making us proud both on and off the field.

We are excited to share that our preliminary Math and Reading STAAR results show growth in student achievement. These gains reflect the hard work of our students, teachers, staff, and families working together throughout the year. While we continue to wait for additional results, we are celebrating the progress our students have made and the strong foundation that has been built for future success.

As we finish the school year, we encourage families to join us in celebrating every student's accomplishments. Whether they mastered a new skill, gained confidence, made new friends, improved attendance, or achieved academic growth, every success deserves recognition.

Thank you for trusting us with your children each day. It has been an honor to serve your family and watch our Pioneers grow throughout the year.

Together, we continue to make a difference for every Pioneer.

RIGHT HERE. RIGHT NOW. Where Every Pioneer Learns and Belongs!

With gratitude and pride,

The Barron Elementary Leadership Team

Sra. Vasquez
