Hello Thunderbird Nation!
The last week of school is here, and it is going to be an exciting one! We have a full schedule of celebrations, activities, and opportunities for students to make lasting memories with their classmates and teachers. Please see the schedule of events below and help your child arrive ready to participate and enjoy these special end-of-year activities.
Our PTA has also sent out requests for volunteers. If you are able to lend a hand, we greatly appreciate your support. These events are successful because of the partnership between our staff, families, and community.
It has been my pleasure and privilege to serve as Principal of Tahoe Valley Elementary School. I have enjoyed meeting families, reconnecting with former students who are now parents, and getting to know the incredible children who make up our Thunderbird Nation.
The students, staff, and families of Tahoe Valley have made this a very special place. I have been inspired by the kindness, resilience, hard work, and joy that I have witnessed every day. Watching students learn, grow, and succeed has been one of the greatest rewards of my career.
As many of you know, I will be retiring at the end of this school year. I want to thank you for your support, partnership, and friendship throughout my time at Tahoe Valley. Every day has been a great day to be at Tahoe Valley!
I look forward to seeing everyone next week as we celebrate a fantastic school year together.
Have a great week!
Have an extraordinary week!

We are winding down the year with lots of fun activities. This week, we have had visitors come into our classroom to talk about various careers. We had a hairdresser teach us how she cuts her clients' hair. We had Anne Lopez, a former x-ray technician, teach us how she used to take x-rays at the hospital.
