Spirit Week is Coming

BWMS Community,

Crazy weather last night and hope all are safe. Please reach out to the school if your family is in need.

One more week and I believe we can make it a great one, especially with SPIRIT WEEK sponsored by our Student Council. I am looking forward to seeing that BW Spirit come alive this week.

Important Updates

Our BWMS Builders Club is hosting a book drive to support Little Red Libraries during the month of March. See the details below about this Advisory competition.
Looking to support our military-connected students in Big Walnut, check out the Purple Up information below.
3rd Quarter grades were posted online in PowerSchool on Wednesday 3/13/24.
Scheduling sheets for next school year will now be sent home with 7th & 8th grade students on Monday 3/18/24 to communicate to families the course requests for next year. Please be sure to review and return with any necessary adjustments.
7th Grade students received an informational sheet / opt out form for Healthy Life Choices Programming to be delivered by MS Wellness Teacher, Dr. Keating, on Monday 3/18/24 and Tuesday 3/19/24. Students will attend out of 7th grade science classes. Please find the form here. If your student is enrolled in or has taken 7th grade Wellness already, they will not need to participate in the program and will be provided an extension activity in science. Please note that you can sign and return the opt out form to the office or email JoshFrame@bwls.net if this is your family decision.
Student council is planning the Staff vs Student Basketball Game and Spring Sports Recognition Pep Rally for Friday 3/22/24.
The next schedule DC Payment is due to Prodigy Student Travel on Friday 3/22/24.
Spring Break is 3/25/24 through 3/29/24. Students return to school on Tuesday 4/2/24.
There is no school on Monday 4/1/24 in lieu of conference nights.
There is no school on Monday 4/8/24 due to the Solar Eclipse.
