Beginning Friday, October 4, SW Rye Rd will become ONE WAY heading north (uphill) during the arrival and dismissal windows. These windows are:

Arrival Window | 8:05 to 8:20 AM

Dismissal Window | 2:35 to 2:50 PM

This change is being made to better ensure the safety of our students and adult pedestrians who use Rye Rd during arrival and dismissal.

A new set of cones will be added to the Andrews / Rye intersection. The cones will be blocking the entrance to the southbound (downhill) lane on Rye.

Westbound drivers entering the intersection from Andrews (most common) will be diverted straight to continue on Andrews, which provides a wider roadway and sidewalk space for pedestrians and two-way traffic. For these drivers connecting with Country Club, the new route adds an additional 20 seconds of travel time. For drivers connecting with 10th via Bayberry, the new route adds an additional 45 seconds.

Eastbound drivers entering the intersection from Andrews (less common) will be diverted left onto Sunningdale to continue around the school. For these drivers connecting with Country Club, the new route adds 3 minutes of travel time. For drivers connecting with 10th via Bayberry, the new route adds 2 minutes of travel time.

Please continue to practice extra caution during arrival and dismissal when the roadway is shared by pedestrians, bike riders, vehicles, and busses. Thank you!
