"If you can't fly, then run; if you can't run, then walk; if you can't walk, then crawl..."
We’re often told that if we aren’t "crushing it" at 100mph, we’re failing. But Dr. King’s words remind us of a quieter, more sustainable truth: The pace matters far less than the direction. Some weeks, this newsletter will feel like fuel for your flight. Other weeks, it might just be the hand on the ground helping you crawl an inch further. Both are wins. Today, we’re looking at how to keep that momentum alive, even when the wind isn't at your back.

Message for the Week:
Message from Mr. Tejkl
Just Keep Moving..
Good morning!
I am late the game this week! Amazing how fast the weekend can go when your celebrating at 12 year old's birthday in Omaha on Friday evening, Basketball on Saturday for my youngest as well as our Varsity Teams, and then top it off with Youth Basketball League as well as having family over to officially celebrate a birthday...all of this saying it is a lot of excuses on why this is late but here it is!
These words from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. serve as a vital reminder that in a culture obsessed with "crushing/killing it" and constant must be at peak performance, the most important thing we can do is simply refuse to stand still. We often fall into the trap of thinking that if we aren't giving 110%, we are somehow failing. But the reality of our journey is that momentum is rarely a constant, high-speed sprint. There will be seasons when we feel like nothing can stop us and life feels effortless, and there will be other seasons where just putting one foot in front of the other—or even dragging ourselves an inch further—is the greatest victory of the day.
By honoring the "crawl" just as much as the "flight," we acknowledge that persistence is far more valuable than perfection. Whether we are navigating personal challenges, professional hurdles, or the difficult of learning, we are all go through days that are simply heavier than others. It is easy to move when things are going well; it is an act of courage to keep moving when the pace is slow and the path is steep. This week and throughout this year, let’s give ourselves and each other the grace to adjust our speed without losing our direction. As long as we are moving forward together, we are exactly where we need to be.
Have a great rest of your week!
Quote of the week to reflect on:
"If you can't fly, then run. If you can't run, then walk. If you can't walk then crawl. But whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward."
Martin Luther King Jr.
Sincerely,
Tucker Tejkl
