Parent and FamilyEngagement Plan Holcomb Bridge Middle School 2026-27

Revised June 4, 2026 Revised June 4, 2026

School Plan for Shared Student Achievement School Plan for Shared Student Achievement

What is Title I?

Holcomb Bridge Middle School is a Title I school under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). This means we receive extra support to help all students meet high academic standards. Title I focus on strengthening teaching, learning, and family involvement because students do better when schools and families work together. As part of Title I, every school must partner with parents and families to create a written Parent and Family Engagement Plan. This plan explains how we will support families, and it must be easy to read, consistent, and whenever possible provided in the languages families understand.

What is it?

This plan explains how Holcomb Bridge Middle School will create meaningful opportunities for families to stay engaged and support student learning. We value the contributions of parents and family members and believe in working together as equal partners to help every student succeed. The plan outlines the many ways we will support family engagement and shows how parents can help shape and participate in activities and events both at school and at home that promote student learning.

How is it revised?

All staff, families, and students are invited to review and help update our Parent & Family Engagement Plan, School‑Family Compact, and our 1% reservation of Title I funds each year. We hold two Spring Input Meetings, one in the morning and one in the evening to make participation easier for families. For families who cannot attend, the presentation and survey will be posted on our school website and in the School Newsletter for at least two weeks after the final Parent Input Meeting. Hard copies are also available from the Parent Liaison upon request. We welcome family input and feedback all year long. Any input received after the deadline will be applied to the upcoming year.

Who is it for?

All students and families in the Title I, Part A program are encouraged to participate in every opportunity described in this plan. Federal Program High School is committed to ensuring full access for all parents and caregivers, including those with limited English proficiency, disabilities, or migratory status. If any parent or family member is not satisfied with the Title I Schoolwide Plan, the school will share their comments with the district for review.

Where is it available?

At the beginning of the school year, the School Parent and Family Engagement Plan will be available on our school website and in the Front Office. Families may also request a hard copy at any time.

Let's Get Together! Let's Get Together!

Holcomb Bridge Middle School will host the following events to build the capacity for engagement to support a partnership among the school, parents, family, and the community to improve student academic achievement. All meetings will be held in the morning or afternoon at various times. Spanish translation services will be provided; other languages may be requested at least two weeks in advance.

Please note that event dates and times are subject to change.
