Career Day
BES will host a Career Day on Friday April 14th, 2023 from roughly 8am-11am. We are looking for volunteers to come into the classrooms and talk about their career with our students in brief presentations and students will rotate throughout the school so that they may see multiple careers. You could bring in props, present outside if you have a special vehicle or equipment to share, create a slideshow to display your work, etc! We are looking for a variety of presenters in different fields including but not limited to: STEM, Hospitality, IT, Public Services, Agriculture, The Arts, Finance, and so much more!
If you are interested in participating, please fill out the Google Form that is linked below or look for a paper copy in your student’s take-home folders. Forms are due to your student’s homeroom teacher by Friday March 17th, 2023. If you have any further questions, please reach out to Madison Jackson at mjackson@glnd.k12.va.us
