Important Information For Incoming 11th Graders

Your son/daughter will be entering the 11th grade for the 2026 – 2027 school year. The Pennsylvania School Health Law requires a medical examination for all students in 11th grade. This grade was selected because it represents a critical period of growth and development in a teenager’s life.

We are able to accept the following documentation:

  • Well visit dated after January 2026: A print out of a well visit from the physician, note from a healthcare provider or school physical form filled out which is attached. 11th Grade Physical Form (English) (Needed On File Prior to 12th grade School Year), 11th Grade Physical Form (Spanish); (Needed On File Prior to 12th Grade School Year)

  • Driver's license physical

  • Sports Physical

This mandate needs to be completed and returned by the end of Junior year (June 2027) or it will be considered an obligation as your student enters their senior year.

*Additionally, if your student is 16 years old or older, they should also receive their 2nd Meningococcal A, C, W, Y. Please provide an updated vaccine record when submitting your physical. Montgomery County Health Department: School Immunization Information

The Class of 2028 is sponsoring a Final Exam Fundraiser

. There are two possible ways to support our class.

  1. We are selling "Final Exam Survival Kits" for high school students. Parents can purchase goodie bags that contain snacks, encouraging words, and study tips from MHS teachers for $10 per student. They will be delivered to students before the start of exams.

  2. Or parents can choose to sponsor a teacher's classes for finals for $10 per teacher. Teachers will give each student a treat and an encouraging note before their final exam.
