Randall Weekly Update - Week 15

Happy Friday Randall families,

🏆 Perfect Season. Championship Winners. History made.

What a week to be a Wildcat! To begin, what an extraordinary season for our Girls Basketball Team. Today, we get to celebrate their incredible achievements of both a perfect, undefeated season and capturing the championship title - Randall's first championship in over 10 years! From the first tip-off to the final buzzer, the team demonstrated outsanding skill, determination, sportsmanship and the will to win. Their commitment to excellence - on and off the court - is an emblem of what our Randall community is all about. We will remember the standard this team set for years to come. To our athletes, Coach Cheryl, our super fans, our Pep band and our Cheerleaders: thank you for your hard work, passion, and belief in one another. This championship is a testament to your dedication and unity.

🎶🎄Elementary Winter Concert

Thank you so much to all of our Randall families and guests for joining us for our Elementary Winter Concert. Your presence made the evening truly special, and it meant the world to our young performers to see such enthusiastic support in the audience. Our students and staff worked hard to prepare for this event, and your encouragement helped create a melt-your-heart atmosphere that celebrated their creativity and effort. We hope you enjoyed the music, the smiles, and the festive spirit as much as we did. Thank you again for being a part of this memorable night and for your continued support of our school community.

âś… Parent and Caregiver Survey:

Early in November, students in grades 3 through 8 took the fall 2025 student survey. Feedback and input are an important part of growing and continually striving for excellence in support of our students and staff, for our community. The three areas that our students rated the highest were the following:

  • I feel safe at Randall.

  • At Randall School, my teachers believe I can learn.

  • My teachers expect me to do my best all the time.

Students were asked a set of 13 total questions, which have remained consistent since the Fall of 2023. Two areas that our educators and staff plan to focus on throughout the year that are perceived to be the lowest are the following:

  • School rules are applied equally to all students.

  • I feel like I belong at Randall.

At this time, the Randall Administration is asking that sometime between December 4 and December 13 that all households complete the Randall Parent Satisfaction survey. The survey link can be accessed HERE or by pasting the link below. You will need to use the PRIMARY email address per household.

We value and pay close attention to the input from our students, parents/caregivers, and staff as we continue to partner to help make Randall School a place of excellence for all. If you have a question, please email Randall’s District Administrator at rantholine@randall.k12.wi.us

Other Info:

  • Holiday Shoppe, sponsored by our amazing, PTC is coming up next week. Holiday Shoppe is a great way for students to buy gifts for their family members with the help of some staff and older students. Happy shopping:

From Ms. Roth

Hello Randall families!

We have spent the last few weeks discussing all things GRATITUDE. We discussed what the word "gratitude" means and tied it to the word "thankful". We really dug into why it's so important to stop and think about the things we have in our lives and why it's important to be grateful for them.

Each of my students in 4K-2nd grade wrote down something they are thankful for on a fall colored leaf to hang on our gratitude tree. They love doing this activity and seeing the tree change!

My second graders spent some time coming up with tons of different people, places, things to be grateful for. They wrote all of their ideas down in their own gratitude jars and I also asked each of them to write one of their ideas on the board. I challenged them not to write something that was already up there so we could get lots of different ideas! (See Photo)

I think my favorite activity that we did was when we talked about thanking our teachers and the different staff members in our building. Each student was able to pick any staff member and write why they are grateful for them! I then went around and taped them to each staff member's door. Some of the Junior High teachers joined in and had some of their students do them as well which was a nice surprise! I included photos of ones written for Mr. Adamek, Ms. Fischbach, and Officer Phelps. :)

It's been a wonderful few weeks on the topic of gratitude- especially leading up to Thanksgiving. After our small break, we will be back at it with a brand new topic for the month of December!

Have a wonderful break and holiday!

Mrs. Roth"

WILDCAT WISHES:

Be on the lookout in the coming weeks for information on our annual holiday program, Wildcat Wishes.

Speak Up Speak Out Program for Randall Speak Up Speak Out Program for Randall

Randall School is pleased to announce the launch of the SPEAK UP, SPEAK OUT confidential tipline as part of our school safety efforts. Tiplines are used to identify threats to schools, and for concerns impacting school age youth such as bullying, drug use, suicidal thoughts and more. Schools that promote and use tiplines have less violence overall. The SPEAK UP, SPEAK OUT (SUSO) tipline is run by the Wisconsin Department of Justice’s Office of School Safety. Parents and students, this tool is available for anyone to use to help keep the Randall Community safe!

Randall students will engage in learning about how to advocate for their own (and others') safety and well-being over the next month in partnership with our counselor, Mrs. Roth, as well as other members of our student services team. We encourage you to speak with your child about the importance of communicating when/if they feel that their safety may be compromised.

Here is a LINK to an informational flyer about Speak Up Speak Out.

Thank you in advance for all of your support!
