On March 4th, our AVID Teachers and Students toured Cal-State Los Angeles to bring the university experience to life. During the trip, students explored the beautiful campus, learned about academic programs and student resources, and gained insight into what it takes to succeed in college. Experiences like this help AVID students connect their hard work in the classroom to real opportunities in higher education.

Students must complete an online application, interview, and work permit to participate. The internship will run from June 1, 2026, to July 23, 2026. Participants are expected to commit to a part-time schedule during those 8 weeks. Interns will receive $18/hr.
