Notes from Mrs. Stone

This week was a great week here at SDES! We started off with the annual Title I Family Fun Night. Thank you to all the families that attended and also to our Title I staff, PTO and teachers for a great night!

On Wednesday we held the STEM Girls Night out after school. Shout out to Mrs. Bolton for organzing this event for girls in Grades 3-6. Girls that attended were able to make cards, their own perfume and tie-dye shirts!

On Thursday evening, we held the first holiday concert of the season! The students in Grades K-3 looked and sounded great thanks to the direction of Mrs. Harrell!

Today we had our montly meeting in the gym with the whole school. Congratulations to those students who were chosen for student of the month and to the 4th grade for winning best attendance for the third time this year!

Have a great weekend!
