The Valentine's banquet is back!
3rd grade performs surgery
This week our 3rd graders operated on sentences. They broke, separated and mended words. They sutured definitions to the word and even prescribed a few contractions to fix problem sentences. Who knew learning and surgery could be so fun!
MAP Testing
KAES teachers would like to thank all the parents who support the classrooms with nourishing snacks during this week of testing. It was a good week and we are proud of our KAES kids.

Lunch order is to be placed with the homeroom teacher each day. $4.50 small $5.50 large
All meals are vegetarian
Monday - Spaghetti with red or white sauce, garlic bread, salad, juice or milk
Tuesday - Sopes, rice, salad, juice or milk
Wednesday - Veggie Burgers, fries, juice or milk
Thursday - Brunch, eggs, pancakes, hashbrowns, OJ or milk
Friday - Hotdog, potato chips, carrot sticks, dessert, juice or milk

February
Feb. 2 - PreK, 1st and 2nd fieldtrip to FW Stock Show
Feb. 4 - KAES Valentine's Banquet
Feb. 12-16 - I love KAES Week
Feb. 16 - Noon release (no hot lunch / no afterschool care)
Feb. 16-18
Feb. 19 - No school Presidents' Day
Feb. 23-24 - 7th and 8th grade music fest
Feb. 28 - PreSchool and PreK fieldtrip to Rio Vista Childrens museum
