Meet the Sunrise leadership team
At Sunrise, we use a shared leadership model to guide our work and decision-making. Composed of dedicated teachers representing every grade level and department, our Building Leadership Team meets monthly to drive continuous growth and improvement across our school community.
Key responsibilities of the team include:
- Strategic Planning: Establishing building-wide goals and implementing targeted action plans to achieve them. They lead their teams in weekly meetings to collaborate around instructional practices, analyze student data, and generate plans to meet the needs of students.
- Professional Growth: Providing input and support for staff professional development.
- School Culture & Operations: Designing school-wide routines, procedures, special events, and celebrations.
- Committee Oversight: Guiding and supporting the ongoing work of our various school committees.
We are grateful for this team's commitment to leading Sunrise toward excellence every day!

Remembering 9/11
Today, September 11 is the 25th anniversary of 9/11, a day of historic significance for our nation. It is also called “Patriot’s Day”. On September 11, 2001, terrorists attacked the United States and nearly 3,000 American citizens lost their lives.
Please take time to reflect about those we lost and those who risked their lives to save others. This day also serves as a reminder for the appreciation for the people who work hard to keep us safe and protect our freedom every day.
