During my career, I have witnessed this District continually grow and improve its overall mission, “equip students for their next stage in life”. I give credit to the faculty, staff, administration, and school board for providing our children with a quality education. I am proud both of my sons graduated from Forsyth and I can honestly say I have never had the desire to leave the Forsyth District. I will forever be a Forsyth Panther!"

On Vietnam Veterans Day JROTC had two Vietnam veterans come and speak to the class. They shared some of their experiences with the class and talked about the importance of being dedicated to something.
Recently JROTC students started practical applications of first aid. Students have learned about the four life saving steps, the different types of shock and how to treat them, heat and cold injuries, five types of wounds and the three different types of bleeding. They now have to be able to assess a victim and treat them for the various injuries in a given scenario.
