Bulldog BARK
May 18th-June 17th
"At NCHS every student graduates college and career ready with 21st century skills."
From the Principal's Desk
As we move through the month of May, we find ourselves in one of the busiest and most important stretches of the school year. There is a great deal happening across our building, from final assessments and performances to celebrations, recognitions, and end-of-year events—especially for our seniors as they prepare for graduation.
This time of year requires focus and consistency. It is important that students continue to attend classes regularly, stay engaged in their learning, and finish the year strong. The expectations in our classrooms remain high, and our staff is committed to supporting every student in reaching the finish line successfully.
To our seniors and their families, this is an exciting and meaningful time. We look forward to celebrating your accomplishments and all that lies ahead. Please continue to stay informed about upcoming events and important dates as we approach graduation.
I want to thank our staff for their continued dedication and our families for their ongoing support. It takes a collective effort to ensure a strong finish to the school year, and we appreciate your partnership.
Let’s stay focused, finish strong, and make the most of these final weeks together.

Afterschool Program Partnership
Coming Soon: Afterschool Program Partnership
We’re excited to announce an upcoming partnership between our Afterschool Program and Choptank Community Health! This collaboration will bring valuable programming focused on health, behavioral health (BH), and/or dental education, along with academic tutoring to support student success.
Our vision is to create a welcoming space centered on connection, learning, and support where students can build relationships, strengthen academic skills, and gain access to important health-related resources in a safe and supportive environment.
To help remove barriers, students will be able to take the afterschool bus home if transportation is a concern.
