It has been a great week at SMS!

Next week, we continue MAP testing for 8th grade students (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday). Please make sure to read the MAP testing info and reminders below.

Congrats to our SMS Intramural Track Team and their 2nd place overall result at Tuesday night's meet! We are so proud of the hard work they put in!

Also, next week is Teacher Appreciation Week! We have a couple surprises in store for our teachers to let them know how much we appreciate all they do for our kids. MAP Testing Dates and reminders

Seckman Middle School will be MAP/EOC testing May 8th, 9th, and 10th. Below are a couple things that students will need to make sure to do to prepare for MAP testing:

Please make sure students are to school on time that day. We will be testing starting promptly at 8:00am. Once testing begins, students will not be permitted in the testing rooms until the testing session has concluded.
Students will need to have a charged Chromebook. Students will need to charge their Chromebooks the night before testing so that will be able to complete the testing sessions. Please remind them to charge every night.
Please have them get plenty of sleep the night before testing. As with anything the more rest we have the better we can concentrate and function. This includes staying of devices and social media as that can affect sleep.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)

Mr. Perstrope would like to invite everyone to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) meetings. This will be a student led and promoted group open to all!
