Final PTA Meeting of the Year

We are planning to have our final PTA Meeting of the year on Monday at Brewsters. Let’s celebrate this past year and talk about our plans for next school year. I’m so proud of our school. I have so much hope for our school as we return to normal.

Speaking of next year, we still have two openings on the PTA Board: Executive VP and VP of Fundraising. Exec VP supports the president and serves in an advisory role in meetings and for all topics related to PTA. VP of Fundraising makes sure that the Jogathon and Wish Benefit happen.

Please let me know if you have any interest in serving on the board next year, or if you have any questions about these positions.

Expanded Learning Opportunities Grant Survey

The District would love to hear your feedback, input, and ideas on how it should prioritize COVID-19 related funding that it will be receiving. Specifically, the District will be receiving $4,800,000 from the Expanded Learning Opportunities (ELO) state grant for the purposes of:
  • implementing a learning recovery program that provides supplemental instruction,
  • support for social and emotional well-being, and,
  • to the maximum extent permissible under the guidelines of the United States Department of Agriculture, meals and snacks to, at a minimum, students who are included in one or more specific student groups
We are surveying students, families, and staff to help us identify ways we can use our Expanded Learning Opportunities (ELO) grant dollars and would love your input and feedback. The survey already includes some ideas from different groups and there is also room to provide your own thoughts and ideas in each of the identified categories.

Please complete the Expanded Learning Opportunities Grant Survey by Wednesday, May 19.
