Message from the Principal

I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving and got to spend time with those you love. I hope you enjoyed the video, put together by our music teacher, Mr. Clavette, that was shared last week. Once again, we are incredibly lucky to work with you and your children.

On Thursday, we will be hosting an ST Math Open House, where representatives from the company will be visiting Studley to see the GREAT work our students and staff have been doing to build a strong Jiji culture in our school. This is a wonderful opportunity, and I was honored when they asked. It is one thing to think your school is amazing, but when others recognize it - that is something special!

We start the week in November and end it with December. I am looking forward to all the new month has in store for us!

Mrs. Boyle

What's Happening?

Each week we will be posting updates on what is happening at Studley. Last week, First grade shared a little bit about what the students have been up to! Please take a look and enjoy...

PBIS Assemblies

We had another round of PBIS Assemblies. This time, we gathered in two groups, K-2 and 3-4. Once again, students were respectful and demonstrated expected behaviors during the assemblies. Mr. Corsi, from Capron Park, came to thank the students for their contributions of coins which raised just over $1200 for the zoo. His message was small things add up to big change when we work together! We also recognized students in each grade for their good citizenship.

We also added staff recognition. Staff members were nominated by their colleagues and four were selected. Like the students, we could recognize SO many for the outstanding things they do each and every day. The students were so excited to cheer for their teachers and were genuinely proud of them! I think it went a long way with the staff and students and look forward to continuing with this.

Holiday Light Night

PTO's Holiday Light Night will be THIS FRIDAY, December 1st 5:00PM-7:00PM. This night provides families an opportunity to drive through the school(s) and see light displays. We hope you are able to make it!

Grade 2 Swim Program

We are pleased to announce that we will once again be partnering with the YMCA to offer swim lessons to our second graders. The program will last 6 weeks during the months of January and February. Participating students will take the bus to and from the YMCA and will attend with their teacher. We will be having a virtual information session on December 6th at 6:00PM. A link will be sent closer to the date. We had such a positive experience last year, and we are excited to offer this to our second graders again this year!
