Dear RMS Families
Happy New Year! Our 8th graders will be visiting the Richard W. Creteau Regional Technology Center during the week of January 9-12. During the month of January, we will also have NWEA testing.
As a staff we are reminding students of our expectations of being safe, responsible, and respectful. It’s a great time for the new year to practice these expectations, and at the same time, they should continue to practice becoming flexible thinkers, problem solvers, and collaborators. These are some of the topics some of our staff are discussing monthly with Eric Mann (Behavioral Specialist) while brainstorming Social and Emotional Learning approaches.
This month we will start our Coffee with the Principal conversations. For January we are inviting parents and guardians to RMS on January 27th at 9am in the Cafeteria. There is an advertisement in the newsletter and a Google Form for you to RSVP. This month’s topic is about resources for students and families. We will showcase our Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) Michael Seeley, Engage NH, My Turn, and Waypoint. We hope to see you there!
Also in January there will be an Early Release Day Wednesday, January 11th, and there is no school on Monday, January 16th in honor of Martin Luther King Jr .Day.
