Third Grade Terrific!

Mrs. Stanush and Mrs. McDougald’s classes practicing force and Motion with a lab. Mrs. McDougald’s class won the Golden Platter award for the last couple of weeks. Mrs. Stanush and her elves had fun selling hot chocolate for fourth grade.

Mrs. Ransleben and Secret’s 3rd grade classes teaming up with Mrs. Schock’s 5th grade class for the fossil lab.

Fourth Grade Fun!

Mrs. Mulle and Ms. Kosub’s class took the time to reflect on what they are thankful for during this holiday season. We also just learned about the Spanish Missions of Texas. Students also had fun learning about gravity and friction using ramps and race cars!

Fifth Grade Fantastic!

Students in Mrs. Boruff's class participated in the Dual Language Posada. They acted out a play about enjoying different Christmas traditions.

Reindeer Traps in Technology!

Third grade technology students learn Google Slides skills such as copy, paste, arrange, shapes, changing colors, and more in connection with the book, “How to Catch a Reindeer,” by creating their own reindeer traps!

Don't Throw Away Your Car Tags!

Please don't discard your CarRider Pro car tag! Your family tag will work next year for returning students or incoming third graders with siblings already attending LV Intermediate.

If you lose your initial family tag issued in 2022-2023, you will need to purchase an additional tag for $5 for the 2023-2024 school year.

Incoming third graders with no siblings at the Intermediate and "new to LV" students will receive their first car tag at no charge.

We also encourage you to join our campus Facebook page (La Vernia Intermediate School and La Vernia Intermediate PTO) and Remind (text @lvinter to 81010) for quick reminders and updates.
