At Westfield Washington Schools, every decision we make is grounded in Compassion, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility, and Hard Work. These principles call us to communicate openly and transparently, especially when state legislative decisions affect our schools. Today, I want to begin sharing information about recent changes to Indiana’s property tax laws, Senate Enrolled Act 1 (SEA 1), and what they mean for our growing district.

Congratulations to Marci Derado, Director of Early Programs at the Virginia F. Wood Early Learning Center, who was awarded the Westfield Washington Schools Award of Distinction at tonight’s Lantern Awards. Marci’s leadership and dedication have led to thriving programs tailored to fostering learning and development for our youngest Rocks. Congratulations, Marci, and thank you for all you do for our students!
