Hello, Families!

This week we are bringing all families an important message from Officer Dani! All students who commute to school on wheels (bikes, scooters, etc,) need to wear a helmet. Under General Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Chapter 85, Section 11B, all persons ages 16 or under must wear a helmet. If you are struggling to find or purchase a helmet, please let Officer Dani know. We also have a bike rack in front of the school. Please make sure your student has a lock - if you need help, please ask us!

Next week there is no school on Tuesday in observance of Rosh Hashanah. Shanah Tovah to our families who are celebrating.

Next Thursday night is our annual Multicultural Night! This is always a fun evening - please join us in can!

Be sure to scroll down to the PTO section - check out the information about Truck or Treat and Walk, Bike, or Roll Day!

Picture Day AND Back to School Night is October 9th!

Have a great weekend!

Fearless Foodies!

At Waltham School Nutrition, our mission is to nourish students with healthy, delicious meals and to create fun opportunities for them to explore new foods. From the cafeteria to the classroom, we’re proud to support students in building lifelong healthy habits.

We are excited to kick off another great year of the Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Program (FFVP)! This program is offered at select Waltham elementary schools and gives students the chance to taste and enjoy a variety of free, fresh produce during the school day.

Did you know it can take 8–15 tries before a student learns to enjoy a new fruit or veggie? That’s why this program is such a wonderful opportunity—encouraging healthy habits, introducing new flavors, and helping students discover the foods that fuel their bodies.

For more information about the Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Program, visit our webpage:

Thank you for supporting healthy eating in our schools!

Forsyth Dental

Forsyth Dental is a Non-Profit Dental Program that we have partnered with the past five years.

The Forsyth Team sets up a mini-clinic in our school to help those families who do not see a dentist regularly. They offer exams, cleanings and fluoride applications. If you are interested in having your student seen, please fill out the QR Code included here and Forsyth will communicate directly with you.

For those families already participating you do not need to fill out this new form. They will contact you. You SHOULD NOT enroll if you have a regular dentist.
