SVDP Newsletter
August 21, 2025
This first week has been full of joy, laughter, and learning. The turn out for Back to School Night was amazing, and we appreciate the high participation. If you were at the church's general meeting, you have earned one point on your volunteer log. These points were entered today. If you were unable to attend, please review information shared by your teacher. Also, you will be receiving the welcome packet delivered by your child. It includes paperwork that needs your attention. Tech forms need to be reviewed as a family, signed by all members, and returned to school by Friday.
If you ordered spirit shirts, we are sorry to report that the order has been delayed. For Monday's Spirit Day, your child can wear blue and gold or a previous year's tee shirt. Remember that for Spirit Days, your child can wear jeans, khakis, or Bermuda shorts (no leggings, athletic wear, or pajama pants). They are always required to wear their white school shoes.
Due to the construction, we are temporarily moving our drop off / pick up zone. Please read carefully so we can provide a safe and efficient process.
- As always, you need to enter Green Street EAST of Steiner and not turn from Steiner onto Green.
- The drop off zone will begin at the west courtyard driveway (closer to the gym).
- Children should be able to exit the vehicles by themselves from the right hand side of the car.
- Please check traffic before pulling away from the curb.
- Patience is a must during this time of the day - everyday!
On September 22nd, MugsyClicks will be on campus to photograph our students and staff. Photos can be purchased online through the company portal - mugsycl!cks
