Good Afternoon Jaguar Nation!

We’ve had a jam-packed week full of incredible events! Last Friday, we wrapped up the week with an amazing Halloween Dance, hosting over 700 students in attendance. On Thursday, we celebrated our Pink Out Pep Rally, where our students showcased their talents, and our entire campus came together in support of breast cancer awareness.

Our middle school musical, Beetlejuice Jr., opened last night to rave reviews and was a huge success! Performances continue Friday (10/24) and Saturday (10/25) at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available at jonesmiddle.booktix.com.

In addition to those events, this week we also hosted our Band Concert, 8th Grade Football, and 8th Grade Volleyball games on campus. It was wonderful seeing so many students, families, and staff come out to support our Jaguars! At Jones Middle School, we strive to cultivate a strong sense of community by creating positive experiences and meaningful events for our students each weekβ€”and this month has truly reflected that commitment.

Next week, we’ll celebrate Red Ribbon Week with themed dress-up days each day. This national campaign promotes alcohol, tobacco, drug, and violence prevention awareness. Be sure to check out the flyer below for dress-up details!

Have a great weekend! Go Jags!

BEST PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN TEXAS

Named by HEB’s Excellence in Education Awards as the Best Large District in the State of Texas, Prosper ISD has an established 67-year history that is grounded in the humble roots of a farming community, now soaring to the fastest growing school district in Texas, due in no small part to the pursuit of excellence in the arts, academics and athletics. Our students and staff are routinely recognized on the local, state, and national levels for outstanding achievements, and our teachers are highly qualified experts who bring out the best in every student.

ABOUT PROSPER ISD

Prosper ISD is a school district located north of Dallas in Collin and Denton Counties. The district spans approximately 58 square miles and serves more than 32,000 students in 20 elementary schools, 6 middle schools, 4 high schools, and one early childhood school.

🫢 THANK YOU TO OUR COMMUNITY FOR SUPPORTING OUR TEACHERS & STUDENTS

In November 2023, an overwhelming majority of voters approved $2.7 billion to continue building excellence in Prosper ISD. Thank you for your continued financial commitment to our district.

And while our facilities are second to none, we know that it is the people who make the difference in Prosper ISD. From our bus drivers to our teachers to our teacher assistants, our staff is here to support students as they pursue their dreams of excellence in academics, fine arts, and athletics.
