Shining Brighter, Growing Stronger!
Dear Main Street Families,
It is hard to believe that we are almost halfway through the year already!
📅 Attendance Matters!
Our current attendance rate has risen slightly—from 71% to 72% of students attending school 90% or more of the time. Our goal is 90%, and we need your partnership to reach it!
Regular attendance is one of the most important factors in your child’s academic success. Students who come to school every day are more likely to stay on track, build strong learning habits, and make meaningful growth in reading and math.
How you can help:
✅ Ensure your child arrives on time each morning
✅ Avoid early dismissals whenever possible
✅ Schedule appointments after school hours when you can
✅ Remember—every minute of instruction counts!
🎉 Exciting Things Are Happening Next Week!
Students who placed in Main Street’s Science Fair will be representing our school in the Chester Upland Science Fair!
The district-level Science Fair will take place on Wednesday, December 17th from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM at Chester High School.
Parents are encouraged to attend and cheer on our young scientists.
