St. Patrick Catholic School
Principal's Newsletter - Oct 22, 2026
Another amazing St. Pat’s Trunk or Treat is in the books! We had our biggest turnout yet, and the competition for Best Trunk was close! “Booey” took the top spot with the most votes, while “Pick or Treat” came in a close second!
Volunteers Make a Difference at St. Patrick Catholic School
One of the many things that makes St. Patrick Catholic School such a special place is the willingness of our families and community members to give their time, talents, and energy to support our students. Volunteers play an important role in the success of our school. Their efforts help create memorable experiences for our students, strengthen our school community, and build the family atmosphere that makes St. Patrick so special.
A great example of this was our Trunk or Treat held on Sunday, October 18. A big thank you to Micaela Rahm and Cali Solsma for organizing and running this fun event for our students and families. I would also like to thank all the families that donated items for the event. Events like these take time, planning, and a great deal of effort, and we are grateful for their willingness to make this experience possible.
I would also like to extend a sincere thank-you to our room parents: Nicole Wroe, Danica Wilcox, Lindsay Hall, Rebecca Koresh, Michelle Boyle, Erin Koenigsfeld, Ashley Kelley, Natalie Deery, Kelsey Kersting, Ashley Keen, Jamie Rathjen, and Stephanie Hansen. These parents generously give their time to help organize classroom activities and special events throughout the school year. Their involvement helps build connections among families and creates meaningful opportunities for our students.
I encourage all families to support our room parents when they share information or ask for assistance. Whether it is volunteering your time, donating supplies, helping with an activity, or responding to a request, every contribution makes a difference. Our room parents cannot do everything on their own, and the success of classroom events depends on families working together and sharing the responsibility.
At St. Patrick, we often talk about the importance of community, service, and putting our faith into action. Volunteering is a wonderful way to live out these values while showing our children the importance of helping others.
Thank you to everyone who volunteers, lends a helping hand, or supports our school in ways both big and small. When we work together, we create a stronger school community and provide even more opportunities for our students to learn, grow, and make lasting memories. We are blessed to have so many people who care about St. Patrick Catholic School!
