Fremont Elementary School
May 9, 2025 NEEDS TO BE CHANGED
A Message From Mrs. Carmody
Dear Fremont Families,
As we wrap up the school year, I want to take a moment to thank you for the kindness, encouragement, and support you've extended to me during my first year as principal. It has truly been an honor to learn and grow alongside this incredible school community.
As summer begins, I hope you find time to rest, play, and enjoy your families. Encourage your children to keep reading, stay curious, and have fun exploring the world around them—especially through stories and numbers!
Wishing you a joyful, safe, and sunny summer!
Beth Carmody
Field Day was a big hit! Our students had a blast rotating through outdoor games, activities, and relays with their classmates. One of the highlights was the bounce house, which brought lots of smiles and laughter. It was great to see everyone cheering each other on and enjoying the sunshine.

Summer Online Learning Access
This Summer Online Learning Access document highlights the programs that students have access to over the summer, should you wish to access them for independent summer learning. These are the same online, personalized, self-paced, student-directed programs FSD79 uses during the school year. Your child’s current classroom teacher(s) have provided reminders regarding the necessary login information needed to access these tools.
Medication Pick Up
Fremont School District has set up guidelines for the administration and transportation of medications at school. These guidelines have been established in order to ensure the safety and well being of all children.
Parents/Guardians are responsible for picking up any medication at the end of the school year. All medication, including inhalers and Epi-Pens, must be picked up by 4:00 pm JUNE 2, 2025. Please make arrangements to pick up your child’s medication. MEDICATION WILL NOT BE SENT HOME ON THE BUS WITH YOUR CHILD. ANY MEDICATIONS LEFT AFTER JUNE 2 WILL BE DISPOSED OF.
If your child will be attending any summer school programs, please let the Nurse Dana know and those medications can be picked up on the last day of their summer school session.
As a reminder, new Medication Authorization Forms will need to be filled out by the child’s physician each school year. Forms can be found on the school website in the Health Services section.
Thank you for your assistance in this matter. If you have any questions, please contact the health office.
