2026 SC Whitmore School Graduation

Congratulations!! You are on track to graduate high school! We are thrilled to celebrate your hard work and to cheer you on as you move towards your future plans. Here are a few facts to help you in planning for graduation.

If you are graduating in June, you must be finished with a passing grade in your courses by May 20th in order to finalize grades, transcripts and ensure approval for participation in the June graduation.

We do NOT allow students to "walk" if they haven't completed or passed all graduation requirements.

Do not wait until the last week or you may miss the deadline. Remember, you can work ahead in your courses and finish early.

Tickets will open up on April 14, 2026.

*Tickets to attend the 2026 SC Whitmore Graduation are free.

It is necessary to have RSVP’d if you plan to attend graduation. We need to keep count of graduates and guests.

Each SCWS graduate will have access to reserve up to 10 tickets for their family and friends for the June 6th graduation. Students, you are not included in the 10 tickets. If you need more than 10 tickets please complete this form. The graduate's name will be placed on a waiting list. If extra tickets become available, we will be able to offer two additional tickets per student. This opportunity will be extended on May 6, 2026 if tickets are available.

You will be asked to enter an “Access Code” your access code is your last and first name (example: LattaAshten). Next, you will be asked to write the names of each individual who plans to attend along with their email address. This link will also ask you to list the name of the SCWS graduate.

SCWS Graduates-

Graduates, please complete this form to indicate if you will be attending graduation.

Students and parents will check in at seperate tables. Families will check in and scan tickets upon arrival. Graduates will make their way to the graduation check in tables. Once there, graduates will be directed to go into our "Graduation Zone." This is a room students will wait in until graduation practice begins.

*We will be offering a quiet zone for any students who may need a break from the graduation environment.

*Cords will be given to students on the day of graduation. Counselors will hand students the bag when they check in.

Yellow/Gold cords - 3.5 or higher

Light Blue cord - 1 Year Early graduate (1 academic year early)

Red cord - 2 Year early graduate

Green cord - Dual Enrollment program and earned college credits

Black and Gold cord - SCWS National Beta Club

Red, white, blue cord - enlisting in the military

Blue and gold - National Honor Society

Red and blue - Student Government

Purple - College or Career Ready requirements

Blue and Black - Law Enforcement completer

Light Pink - Health Science Completer

Black - Business completer

White - Winter Grads

Royal blue and white - Education CTE cord

The cap and gown can be ordered here. *Please make sure to place your order for your cap and gown by March 2, 2026.

Most students wear business casual. This could mean khaki pants and a polo shirt, or a dress. No flip flops. There are a lot of options.

We begin the service at 11:00 AM and we are typically finished by 12:30 PM. (Times could vary, but typically we tell families to allot for 1.5 hours).

Class of 2026, we want to highlight all of your success at SCWS and your future plans! Complete this form to participate.

We will be hosting a live stream event on May 6 at 11 AM called, "Oh the places we will go!" Our version of a signing day; college, career, and military! We would love for you to be a part of this live stream event.

Deadlines to remember:
- April 24, 2026 - We need you to submit this form to let us know you will be participating.
- May 1, 2026 - Send a 15-second (or shorter video) to prscws@scwhitmoreschool.org, with your first and last name. In the video please include your (1) name and hometown, (2) why SCWS was a good fit for you, and (3) your plans after graduation.
- May 6, 2026, at 11 AM - Watch "Oh the places we will go!" on the SCWS Youtube and Facebook pages.
