Reoccurring reminders:
Traffic Reminder 🚗
To help keep traffic flowing safely and efficiently, please turn right when exiting the school during arrival and dismissal. This small change will help reduce congestion and ensure a smoother transition for all families. Thank you for your cooperation!
Also, when crossing the street or high traffic areas, please make sure to be crossed by a crossing guard at the cross walk, thank you.
Reading and Writing at home: We do a great deal of reading and writing at school. Parents/Guardians, if you could help us out by helping your kiddos with their home work, also reading to them, and having them write something short and age appropriate (pre-k: trace some letters, Kinder: write a few short words, 1st grade: write a short sentence), would go a long way.
Homework Reminder: I want to take this opportunity to encourage all parents to support their children with their homework. Your involvement in your child's education plays a crucial role in their academic success. By working together, we can ensure that our students are reaching their full potential.
Parental Involvement: Research consistently shows that students perform better in school when their parents are actively involved in their education. I am proud to share that our school has seen a significant increase in parental engagement over the past year. Let's keep up this positive momentum as we work together to support our children's learning journey.
Summer School Update: I must inform you that there will not be summer school offered this year for attendance recovery. Therefore, it is imperative that your student attend school on time each and every day unless they are sick. If they are sick please leave a doctors note with the front office.
School policy: Parents, we will not allow early pick up of students after 3pm, including Doctors appointments, etc...
Transportation Changes: ALL Transportation changes must be made no later that 12pm. Any changes after that time cannot be made. Thank you,
District Students of the Month
Congratulations to Alaia Rodriguez & Braylon Lott!
District High Five Award Recipient!
Leslie Ovalle
Campus Employee of the Month: Leslie Ovalle!
Campus Teacher of the Month: Fabi Lopez!
Throughout last school year, Mrs. Lopez showed an incredible commitment to her Pre-K students. Thanks to her dedication, patience, and high expectations, her students grew tremendously both academically and socially. Estrellita data shows that 53% of students are coming in reading and ready for kindergarten. Because of her efforts, her students are leaving Pre-K well prepared and on level for kindergarten. She has built a strong foundation that will support their success for years to come!

Parent/Guardian Lunch with Students
Dear Parents/Guardians,
We will allow parents/guardians to have lunch with students beginning on August 26th. This gives us time to get our cafeteria routines and procedures in place. We appreciate your support!
