Principal Message
Greetings Families,
It’s hard to believe, but we are entering the final month of our school year! With just a few weeks remaining, we are eager to make the most of each and every day. Our commitment to providing high-quality instruction remains strong, and our staff continues to work hard to ensure meaningful learning through the very last bell.
I also want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate the incredible effort our students in grades 3–5 have put into the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments. While we won’t receive official results until the fall, we are already seeing the perseverance, focus, and grit our students have demonstrated. We are so proud of them!
In the coming weeks, we are also excited for several off-site educational experiences. Our field trips are more than just fun outings—they are thoughtfully planned extensions of classroom learning, intentionally aligned with state academic standards to deepen student understanding and engagement.
Thank you for your continued support in the learning and growth of all our Huskies. Together, we’ve made this year a great one—and we’re ready to make this last month the best yet!
With appreciation,
Mollie
Hoover Fun Run
The Hoover Fun Run is Thursday, May 1st!
We are raising money to meet our 2025-2026 needs so we can support our field trips, provide learning enhancements and create enriching experiences for our Huskies!
We want to promote a health lifestyle to our students and our community. Please help us reach our fundraising goal by supporting our Fun Run!

Walk and Bike to School Day
Wednesday, May 7th, Hoover Spring Bike or Walk to School Day!
National Walk and Bike to School Day is an exciting annual event that encourages students, parents, and communities to embrace a healthier, more sustainable way of getting to school. Held in the fall and spring, this event promotes physical activity, environmental consciousness, and community engagement.
Students who do not walk or bike to school will have the chance to walk laps around the concrete of the playground. There will be a cone path set up for them to walk in order to count as a student who walked that morning!
